Workshop on Animal PoPulation ImagING (APPNING) - Paris, June 22nd

The deadline for early registration to the APPNING workshop is May 20th, 2018.

The workshop itself will take place on June 22nd, just after the ISMRM/ESMRMB meeting, at the Institut National de'Histoire de l'Art (INHA), 2 rue Vivienne, Paris.

The APPNING workshop is focused on conceptual and methodological aspects and existing solutions to support the sharing of animal imaging data and processing tools: data structures, application ontologies, new paradigms for handing data, atlas construction, interoperability of repositories, semantic queries, image processing composition, local or grid-access execution, software and hardware architectures, and pros and cons of existing working solutions.

Five international domain leaders have been announced among the keynote speakers: G. Allan Johnson (Duke Univ, USA), Jan Bjaalie (Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, NO), Michael Hawrylycz (Allen Institute, USA), Anna Kreshuk, (HCI, Heidelberg, GE) and Basil Künnecke (F. Hoffmann- La Roche, CH).
